Marriage and couples counseling for Fresno, by video
In Fresno, Clovis, Visalia, Madera, and the wider Central Valley, couples often have fewer nearby options for couples-focused counseling, and long distances between towns. Video sessions put couples counseling within reach without the drive.
Central Valley couples I work with include farming and agriculture families with seasonal workloads, healthcare and education workers, and multigenerational households where family is close in every sense.
What we often work on
- Seasonal stress, like harvest months when one partner is barely home
- Living with or near extended family, and setting boundaries kindly
- Money stress and planning together
- Communication that has gone quiet
The six-session structure is practical: you'll know the time and cost up front, and you'll leave each week with a clear next step.
How it works
We follow Brief Directive Marriage Counseling™, six weekly sessions. We talk about the past once, then keep the focus on what you'll do differently.
It's a focused, six-session approach, and I actively guide you toward change. We know what isn't working. Now we put the changes in place. If you're living in the past, you're not building a future. You're just practicing the problem.
Sessions are by secure video. You both need to be in California during the session, and you can join from the same room or from two places.
