Marriage and couples counseling for Los Angeles, by video
In Los Angeles, getting two people to the same office at the same time can be the hardest part of counseling. A 20-mile appointment can take an hour each way. Couples in the Valley, the Westside, Long Beach, Pasadena, and the South Bay tell me that video counseling is the only way they could fit it in.
LA couples also deal with irregular schedules: entertainment and production work, healthcare shifts, long weeks followed by days off. Video makes it possible to book around that.
Common reasons LA couples reach out
- Careers with unpredictable hours pulling you in different directions
- High cost of living putting pressure on money conversations
- Long-distance stretches when one partner travels or works on location
- Blended families and co-parenting across households
How it works
We follow Brief Directive Marriage Counseling™, six weekly sessions. We talk about the past once, then keep the focus on what you'll do differently.
It's a focused, six-session approach, and I actively guide you toward change. We know what isn't working. Now we put the changes in place. If you're living in the past, you're not building a future. You're just practicing the problem.
Sessions are by secure video. You both need to be in California during the session, and you can join from the same room or from two places.
