When things look fine from the outside
Some couples come in not because of a big crisis but because of a slow drift. The calendar is full, the family is doing well, and still the two of you feel more like coworkers than partners.
You don't need to wait for things to get worse. A small, focused effort now can bring back the closeness you miss.
How it works
We follow Brief Directive Marriage Counseling™: six weekly sessions with a clear shape.
- We start from one agreement: you are both committed to making the marriage work.
- We talk about the past once, so the situation is clear.
- After that, sessions stay on what you're doing now and on the agreement you make with each other.
- We meet weekly to check that the new habits are being practiced.
- By the sixth session, you two should be holding yourselves to the changes you named.
It's a focused, six-session approach, and I actively guide you toward change. We know what isn't working. Now we put the changes in place. If you're living in the past, you're not building a future. You're just practicing the problem.
